Is Peace in Palestine Possible?

Is Peace in Palestine Possible? That is the million dollar question that we are all asking ourselves at the moment and the final outcome does not look very promising.

Why can't old sworn enemies make peace after so many centuries of conflict and mutual hatred? It is possible as we can see in Europe where old enemies are now trading partners and a lot more, but even so there still exist racial hatreds in the so called civilized world.

What are the differences between the peoples of Europe and the middle East? I can only name one and that is the influence of Christianity on both society and mainline political policy in westernized countries. So what do you believe in? - An eye for an eye or love thy neighbor.

Personally I cannot hate anybody and I believe in forgiveness towards everyone, regardless of religion, creed or color. Why can't these simple rules of humanity be applied by the leaders of the middle East conflict countries?

I pray for the west to act in a more civilized manner in this region and that capitalist greed; by let's face it, a very small minority comes to an end and that our leaders are capable of just preaching love and understanding towards all nations regardless of their riches.

You are probably saying now - "Wake up Andrew you're living in a dream world". Well maybe I am, and maybe the only weapon I have is to pray, but I do hope that together we can teach love and forgiveness to the Jewish and Palestine peoples because without these basic religious morals, peace will never be achieved in Palestine.

I would love to hear what you think and would post any article that could lead to the main objective of this blog - Peace in Palestine.
